Jason wakes up in a mysterious world of magic and monsters. Also, this novel is only posted on Royalroad and Patreon so if you are reading it elsewhere, it's pirated and you suck if you keep reading. Any feedback is more than welcome, of course. This is my first novel ever, and English isn’t my native language, so go easy on me chaps. Tags and content warnings are mainly to give me creative freedom later on. Perhaps… Jake was born for this kind of world, to begin with. In a world that should breed fear and concern, an environment that makes his fellow coworkers falter, Jake instead finds himself thriving. Into a tutorial filled with dangers and opportunities. Jake, a seemingly average office worker, finds himself thrust into this new world. A world where power is the only thing that one can truly rely on. The universe had reached a threshold humanity didn’t even know existed, and it was time to finally be integrated into the vast multiverse. On just another normal Monday, the world changed. I'm of course learning by the day but compared to how it was before it should be an improvement at least. Quick update June 2019: Many complaints regarding the formatting, specifically spacing in conversations and of course the usage of the present tense in the first 36 chapters have been addressed. Just know that it goes back to what you've come to know after that section. The Arc around chapters 150-200 is darker than the rest and the themes shift quite a bit.
Quick heads up: Around chapter 120 there are a bunch of longer PoV changes that I discontinued again shortly after. If you find yourself hating it early on, do convey your anger in a detailed comment or review :) I want to get better but without any feedback it's simply quite difficult. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. She will be transported to another world rather conventionally and will be confronted with survival in the wild.
Ilea Spears is your average sarcastic kick-boxing fast food worker and soon to be student. Contrary to the title the protagonist will be quite an offensive fighter. The fights should be interesting and aren't just numbers vs numbers. There are Litrpg elements here but I do hope it's not too heavy and annoying. Transported to another world, somewhat standard fantasy setting with my beginner attempts to make it dark but funny. Her fists at the ready, she's prepared to punch and get punched, however long it takes and however many limbs she might have to regrow.Ī story I've started writing now quite a while ago. The grand quest? Well, she might figure that out someday but for now, a new world with new food is prize enough. Sounds good? Well, for Ilea it didn't come quite as expected as for some other protagonists, nor was there a king or god to welcome her. A new world with nearly unlimited possibilities.
